Look at who liked the first movie – The Joker.
Look at the state of young men and you will understand.

In the first film, the Joker is depicted as a sympathetic victim, driven to his breaking point until he stops caring entirely. By the end, he embraces his identity as the Joker, deciding that at this point, why not?
Part one is epic. Part two is a humiliation ritual.
The Joker II is actually a grim reminder of isolation, rejection and humiliation. 
This is not a normal kind or “review” a movie or whatever.
It is a look at our society and how our young men are not doing well and those that think themselves better, are relentlessly trying to beat them down.
