Writer, William Spivey, from the far left-leaning Medium platform has yet again, come to the same Afrocentric conclusions as we have seen for quite some time, that Africans are being whitewashed from the historical record in his new article “Where Are The Black People in ‘Shogun’?”

In it he expresses discontent about the absence of black actors in a new smash hit FX television series which dramatizes the political intrigue of the Samurai caste and their feudal Lords in Japan during the year 1600.
Yes. That is correct 1600 or 424 years ago. But why oh why am I not surprised? It’s not like this is the first time that we have seen wholesale cultural appropriation by such rabidly ideological actors in the media before, right? Right?
